Introducing the People Finders recruitment team.

Tracy Pattinson MA FREC
Operations Director

Tracy joined the company at its inception in 1997. An Economics graduate of Aberdeen University, Tracy worked in high level positions within HR, customer service and finance. Following redundancy in 1992 she joined a small agency as a commercial temp. After working on a variety of contracts, she was asked to join the agency that employed her as a recruitment consultant, quickly establishing herself with clients and candidates alike as a professional consultant who worked with great integrity, building up excellent working relationships.

It was not surprising then that she would be approached to become involved in the establishment of a new agency. Tracy brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to People Finders, and remains committed to the ongoing development of best practice within an ever changing market-place.

In 2004 Tracy was granted Fellowship status of the REC, as a result of her consistently high standards of professional conduct throughout her career in recruitment. She became only the tenth woman in Scotland to acheive this honour.

Andy joined the People Finders team in April 2006 after spending two years working in customer service roles and travelling around Australasia. He graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA in Business Studies and previous employment included working for the Department for Work & Pensions within Jobcentre Plus.

Andy continues to work to Best Practice standards, ensuring the business continues to provide efficient and ethical recruitment solutions. Whilst working with some of People Finders’ largest client accounts, Andy also deals with compliance and statistics, working towards REC Audited Status and utilising, to great effect, his unnatural love of spreadsheets and all things procedural!

Andy holds Individual Membership of the REC and has completed the Certificate in Recruitment Practice (Merit).

Lesley Dow MREC CertRP

Since joining People Finders in October 2005, following a successful career in hospitality management at regional level, Lesley has established excellent working relationships with clients and candidates alike. Focusing on Permanent vacancies, she is committed to transparency in recruitment, ensuring all those who are involved in the process are better placed to make informed decisions.

Lesley faces the challenges of the industry with enthusiasm and humour and continues to have a significant impact on the ongoing development of positive recruitment practices.

Lesley holds individual Membership of the REC and has passed the Certificate in Recruitment Practice.

In addition to her recruitment duties, Lesley has been utilising her previous experience and industry knowledge to assist in the establishment of our dedicated events division – Eden – which was launched on 6 March 2008.

Gemma has been with People Finders for 18 months and now looks after our Temps Desk. Having spent her time since college working Sales & Marketing roles, she has really enjoyed developing her skills within recruitment and relishes the challenges that brings.

Heading up our fast paced Hospitality and Retail sectors, Gemma is always busy organising and arranging, ensuring her candidates can be where they need to be, when they need to be! Her clients appreciate her commitment to delivering the highest possible quality of service and her ability to making things happen. Being standards-focussed, Gemma often goes beyond her remit to ensure that both client and candidate are happy to leave their recruitment requirements in her hands.
