Keep up-to-date with People Finders' charity events in aid of Alzheimer Scotland - Action on Dementia.

People Finders' nominated charity is Alzheimer Scotland - Action on Dementia. Since 2001, the People Finders team has organised various fundraising events which have included:

Silent Auction
Prize Draw
Charity Pub-Crawl
Office Collection Tin
Weekly Bonus Ball
Bottle Stall

The above events have so far raised in excess of Ł6,000 for this worthwhile charity, and a cheque for Ł2,000 was presented to Moira Lawrance on behalf of Alzheimer Scotland in February 2007.

But our work does not end here - on 26 May 2006 the Recruitment Police were on the beat, raising money on our annual Fundraising Pub Crawl! The People Finders team raised a massive Ł269.94 on the night. Many thanks go to the Friday night revellers who donated their loose change, and to the city centre pubs that supported the fundraising on the night.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated Raffle prizes, bought tickets, bid in our Silent Auction, and donated their loose change to this worthy cause. Every penny is appreciated.

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's leading dementia charity. All money raised by People Finders on their behalf stays in the Tayside area, which helps fund local services and campaigns to help people with dementia, their families and their carers.
